LAWRENCE SWEET It is with great sadness and tender hearts that we share the news of the passing of our dear husband and father Lawrence Sweet, on Thursday, November 28, 2002, at the St. Boniface Hospital. He was predeceased by his sister Joan Strong; and brother-in-law Robert Kemp. He leaves to mourn his beloved wife Diana; children, Wendy Dupre (Wayne), Doug Sweet (Mekiela) and four adored grandchildren, Darrin Dupre, Kristin Dupre, Jade Sweet and baby Sweet; his parents Bill and Marie Sweet; brother-in-law Norman Strong; sisters, Pat Kemp (Carl), Dorothy Bailer (Bill), Debbie Nault (Larry), Sharon Dupre (Brian), Bev Rochon (Paul) as well as brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, family and friends. Lawrence was born in Winnipeg on August 29, 1947. He resided in Anola most of his life where he has been a truck driver for the Springfield Municipality. Lawrence has farmed the family farm for many years. A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 2 at 11:00 a.m. at the Sobering Funeral Chapel, Park Avenue East, Beausejour, with Rev. Charlotte Kalthof officiating. If friends so desire, memorial donations in his memory may be made to the Manitoba Heart & Stroke Foundation, 301 - 352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4M2.
